Sebastian Palka - Artistic Director
Actor and Director has worked in theatre, film, TV in a wide range of styles, roles and forms. Sebastian worked with acclaimed theatre and film directors Jacek Skalski (Poland), Adam Cook (Australia) and Shane Meadows (UK). He trained in the Academy of Theatrical Arts in Krakow, Poland and The Acting College in Sydney, Australia.
Sebastian is a founder of Big Boots Theatre Company Limited. He received an Off West End Award Nomination in the category of Best Director for Holding the Man staged at Brockley Jack Theatre in 2017. Sebastian is a member of Genesis Directors Network at Young Vic in London and the Directors's Cut at Southwark Playhouse.
Sebastian has written musicals and directed at the Polish Children Theatre ‘Syrena’ in Hammersmith, London. He directed at Tristan Bates Theatre in Covent Garden and assisted at City Lit Drama School in Holborn. Other credits include Faust by Wolfgang Goethe, The Giaour by Lord Byron and Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.
Aga Zaborowicz - hr and Operations
Aga studied at the prestigious Jagiellonian University of Krakow in Poland (Theatre Studies) as well as London Metropolitan University (Arts Management). She has worked as a Deputy Stage Manager and as a Head of Theatre at the Young Faces of Art Festival in Krakow. Aga is also an experienced business manager, qualified Human Resources Generalist and an Associate Member of CIPD.
Vanessa Khimoun-Jourdan - Corporate Relationship Consultant
Vanessa, or V like she likes to be called, studied International Business Studies, Marketing and Leadership at Sup de Co Business School in Montpellier France, then furthered her education at the University of Glamorgan in the UK. She has worked in the UK, Qatar, Oman and France in Client focused roles, for both Corporate and VIP clients, specialising in Project and Account management, most recently working for various businesses and charities in the UK and the Middle East.
As part of her role, she also manages various types of events, from challenge events and wine tastings to panel discussions delivered in front of up to 300 people. V is used to pitching ideas and projects to potential partners and thoroughly enjoys building relationships with them. Her proudest career moment to date is when she worked on the Climate Change Conference in Qatar assisting the UN secretary Christiana Figueres.
